The first ISIA constitution was adopted and approved by ISIA. members at the January 16, 1993 Annual General Body Meeting.

The Constitution was updated to include amendments approved by ISIA members at the April 9, 1994 and February 26, 2000, Annual General Body Meetings (AGBM) and Rev 1 was issued. The constitution Rev 2 was issued to include amendments approved by ISIA General Body on February 22, 2003.

The latest issue of constitution is Rev 3 which includes amendments approved by ISIA members at the December 12, 2009 Annual General Body Meeting.

Membership Information : 

ISIA membership is open to all Shia Ithna-Asheri muslims as approved by ISIA EC/council.

As approved by General Body in AGM Dec 2009, the revised membership dues are as follows:

• Single: $150
• Family: $275
• Senior single: $100
• Senior family: $200
• Student: $100
